After working in tertiary education institutions in the UK and HK in the past 35 years, Eva retired from Hong Kong Baptist University in January 2021.
Eva was educated in the United Kingdom, received her first degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from University College London, and a Ph.D. in Information Systems from the University of Abertay Dundee, UK.
Eva became a Principal Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy in 2018, affirming her contributions to teaching and learning. In 2020, Eva received the University Grants Committee Teaching Award (Team), the most prestigious teaching award for universities in Hong Kong.
With her interests and expertise in the enhancement of student learning through the use of engaging and learner-centred pedagogies leveraged on e-learning, Eva has presented and published in these areas. She now takes on consultancy on interesting education projects.
