Introduction

The University has subscribed to the Mentimeter personal/class response system (PRS/CRS) in response to requests received via the recent e-Learning survey. This tool is now available for staff and students to use in helping engage their audiences through interactive activities like polling, questioning, quizzing etc. during teaching/presentation sessions. Audience members can use any Internet-enabled device (e.g. smartphones) to respond.

You can now create an account and log in using your HKBU SSOid. The University’s institutional subscription offers unlimited presentations, slides, and questions. Access it from the following link: http://mentimeter.com/join/hkbu or via [BUniPort > Works > Academic & Student Admission > e-Learning Resources > Mentimeter].

To facilitate the adoption of Mentimeter, two workshops are organised for colleagues to get familiar with the functions available in Mentimeter to enhance student learning experience at the University. Please refer to the following for more information about the workshops.
