Since 2011, the University Grants Committee (UGC) has held the UGC Teaching Award every year to recognise exemplary teaching in the UGC sector. There are three categories under the Award: (1) General Faculty Members (open to individuals only); (2) Early Career Faculty Members (open to individuals only); and (3) Teams.
