Singing is a central activity in childhood education. It is through singing that all musical concepts could be taught and learned. Since everyone possesses a voice to sing, it is imperative that we make the fullest use of it to express and enjoy music. Singing activities is a vibrant means through which children can explore and acquire confidence and enjoyment in music making. Singing is an embodied experience indispensable in childhood music education. When we sing, we become the music.
