Mr. Henderson will discuss the use and the current framing of generative AIs within the HE space; and the implications for education policy development within Asia and more broadly.

Dr. Staffel argues against what some have called “the nuclear option”. She explains why we owe it to our students to adjust our teaching practices and presents some practical suggestions for how to do so.

Generative AIs give academics an opportunity to reconsider the purpose of higher education. One avenue to explore is to focus on abduction which requires relationality and holistic approaches.
4 international experts will participate in the panel discussion to examine the opportunities and difficulties of incorporating AI into the curriculum. The conversations would offer suggestions for integrating AI into teaching, learning, and assessment.
Panelists will share insights to integrate AI into teaching and assessment, followed by an open discussion.
